Smart China Expo 2021 Covid-19 Prevention and Control Requirement

To ensure effective prevention and control of Covid-19 for a safe and successful Smart China Expo 2021, pursuant to the relevant national and Chongqing prevention requirements, the attendees must adopt the following preventive and control measures before participating in the event.

1.  Health Screening

Attendees are required to sign a Personal Health Information Statement for Covid-19 Prevention and Control. For the 14 days prior to the event, the attendees shall also conduct relevant epidemiological history screening and health monitoring to confirm that there are no relevant epidemiological history or symptoms such as fever, dry cough, fatigue, sore throat, loss of smell/taste, and diarrhea. Please ensure that the personal health code and itinerary code are green.

Anyone who has any of the following conditions shall not participate in the event:

1.1  A history of overseas traveling/residence within 28 days prior to the event, who have not completed health management process such as isolated medical observation.

1.2  Close contacts, and close contacts of those close contacts of confirmed, suspected, or asymptomatic Covid-19 cases who have not yet completed isolated medical observation or other health management processes.

1.3  Confirmed, suspected or asymptomatic Covid-19 patients who have not been discharged from the hospital; confirmed or asymptomatic Covid-19 patients who have been cured and discharged, but are still under follow-up medical observation period.

1.4  Within 14 days prior to the event, experienced a body temperature of 37.3 ℃ or have suspected symptoms, but cannot rule out the possibility of having infectious diseases or still experiencing physical discomfort.

1.5  Within 14 days prior to the event, there is a history of traveling or residence in a domestic medium or high-risk area and has not completed isolated medical observation or other health management processes.

2. Nucleic Acid Tests

2.1  Attendees from or passed through a domestic medium or high-risk area shall, in principle, not participate in all meetings and activities.

2.2  Attendees from outside of Chongqing must present two negative nucleic acid test results to participate: one taken within 48 hours before arriving in Chongqing and one taken within 48 hours after arriving in Chongqing. Attendees from Chongqing must present the negative result of a nucleic acid test taken within 48 hours before the event to participate.

3. Personal Hygiene and Protection

Attendees must follow personal protection requirements, wear masks properly throughout the activities, and pay attention to hand hygiene. On-site staff should wear masks and gloves. Entry and exit of the venue will be done in batches and an orderly manner. Attendees must cooperate at the entrance of the venue for body temperature checks, health monitoring, and health/itinerary code checks. Please maintain a safe social distance, other than needed for work, in principle, please refrain from unnecessary contact with unrelated personnel, and do not participate in other gathering activities.
