The automatic driving test platform of Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences consists of three parts: automatic driving control platform, intelligent vehicle body and automatic driving system software. It is based on a variety of environmental perception sensors such as laser radar, millimeter wave radar, ultrasonic radar, and camera, adopts multi-sensor fusion technology and deep neural network learning technology to realize perception data fusion, and can identify various obstacles such as vehicles, pedestrians, and conical barrels during the driving process. The 64-bit quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 and the dual-core Cortex-R5 processing system (PS) are configured in the trunk as the automatic driving domain controller to satisfy automatic driving decision planning, control execution and other algorithms. In the automatic driving mode, the automatic driving test platform can independently realize the functions of one-way tracking, reverse tracking, closed-loop tracking, one-key return, etc.
As an intelligent computing platform for L3/L4 autonomous driving applications, the autonomous driving domain controller can integrate computationally intensive sensor data processing and sensor fusion with control strategy development into one control unit, and helps create a structured and organized vehicle controller network. The integrated navigation module is a high-performance integrated navigation product based on MEMS inertial navigation technology, integrating high-precision satellite navigation and vehicle information, meeting the design and manufacturing of automobile specifications certification standards, and realizing three-in-one/four-in-one integrated navigation function. It uses Infineon processor platform, integrated 4G, RTK timing positioning module, and IMU, CAN, RS232, RS422, PPS synchronization modules.
