Company Profile：Southwest University of Political Science & Law is the first institution of higher learning of political science and law established in New China. After the reform and opening up, it was one of the first batch of key universities in China recognized by the State Council, one of the jointly developed universities of the Ministry of Education and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, one of the first batch of national excellent legal practitioner education and training bases, one of the Chinese government scholarship commissioned training institutions for overseas students in China, and one of the engineering universities for basic capacity building in universities in the central and western regions. The university now has 15 colleges, 11 national first-class undergraduate majors, 3 doctor's degree authorization points for first-class disciplines (law, journalism and communication, national security) . In the fourth round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education, its first-level discipline of law was shortlisted as A-level discipline.
Since 2018, Southwest University of Political Science & Law has built a new secondary college of "big data and intelligent justice", established an "AI law school", promoted the construction of a "science park with rule of law ", strengthened the empowerment of traditional public security discipline and law discipline, and created characteristic research directions such as "smart police service", "intelligent material evidence" and "smart voice". In 2022, the Engineering Research Center of Smart Justice of the Ministry of Education at Southwest University of Political Science & Law was approved for development and construction.
