Case presentation

As an innovative technology company, Wyzo's vision is to launch a new sidebot in the market. This is a robot that can collaborate with humans in its working environment and work efficiently. When the operator approaches, the robot automatically switches to the fully collaborative working mode. In the event of an emergency, the working speed can be reduced in time to minimize the acting force without hurting anyone. Elmo was involved in the early stages of development to develop a safe absolute torque (SAT) system, which allows the Sidebot to adapt its speed to the environment. We chose four small, efficient Harmonica servo drives. 
Outcome With Elmo's SAT technology, the robot is as fast as a high-speed triangle robot and as safe as a collaborative robot
