"Desert Power" - Desert energy ecosystem
"Desert Power" - Desert energy ecosystem. This is a desert ecological comprehensive management project innovated by the State Grid Corporation of China and the local government of Gansu Province in the forest farm. The project organically combines "photovoltaic power generation, cash crop planting, ecological breeding, and desert cultural tourism" to achieve coordinated development of ecological governance, new energy development, industrial chain extension, and rural revitalization. After all of them are completed and put into operation, the total capacity of photovoltaic power station will reach 450KKWP, which will complete the task of ecological restoration of 14,000 mu desert and drive the income of modern agricultural industry in sand area to increase RMB 150 million.
Baihetan-Jiangsu ± 800KV UHV DC Project
Baihetan-Jiangsu ± 800KV UHV DC Project. Baihetan-Jiangsu UHV Project connects Baihetan Hydropower Station on Jinsha River and load center of East China Power Grid, starting from Baihetan Converter Station in Liangshan Prefecture of Sichuan Province and ending at Yucheng Converter Station in Suzhou City of Jiangsu Province, passing through five provinces (cities), i.e., Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Anhui and Jiangsu , with a transmission distance of 2087km. The project will continuously deliver the clean energy with high quality and high reliability contained in Baihetan Hydropower Station to Suzhou-Wuxi area, relieve the power grid operation pressure of Fufeng, Jinsu and Binjin in large-scale energy allocation in the same corridor, as well as the subsequent construction of Baihetan-Zhejiang UHV Project, and provide flexible transmission mode of power mutual assistance for Jiangsu area by IGBT flexible direct networking. It is a model for a new generation of DC technology to give full play to its system advantages.
New energy cloud platform
New energy cloud platform. Guided by Xi Jinping's Thought of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era, State Grid Corporation of China strives to be the promoter, forerunner and leader of clean and low-carbon energy transformation, and is concerned with the great nation, and innovates and builds "new energy cloud". The construction of new energy cloud was officially launched in September 2018. At present, it has realized the comprehensive deployment and application of all 27 provincial companies in the operation area of State Grid Corporation of China. More than 4.1 million new energy stations have been connected, with an installed capacity of 670 million kilowatts, more than 330,000 registered users and more than 14,000 enterprises of various types.
Zhangbei Flexible DC Power Grid Test and Demonstration Project
Zhangbei Flexible DC Power Grid Test and Demonstration Project is the first flexible DC power grid project integrating wind, light, storage and transmission in the world. Four converter stations in Zhangbei, Kangbao, Fengning and Beijing are newly built to reliably interconnect Zhangbei photovoltaic and wind power bases with Beijing Load Center, and establish a power channel for 100% transmission of green energy, providing a "Chinese Plan" to solve the world-class problem of large-scale development and utilization of new energy. The project was officially put into operation in June 2020, which can transmit 14 billion kWh of green electric energy to Beijing every year, save 4.9 million tons of coal and reduce 12.8 million tons of carbon dioxide emission, converting 1/10 of Beijing's annual electricity consumption into "green electricity", and helping all venues of Beijing Winter Olympic Games to enjoy 100% clean energy.
Smart charging and battery replacement service
Provide smart charging and battery replacement service to comprehensively demonstrate the measures and innovative practices of State Grid Corporation of China to continuously improve platform operation service capability, improve charging service level, promote and apply new technologies, serve green travel and support the development of intelligent network new energy automobile industry. Specifically, including: introducing the construction and operation of smart Internet of Vehicles platform, the development of charging and replacing business and energy business; 1+M+N "charging service system as a whole; demonstrating innovative technologies such as charging service V2G, operating and demonstrating "e-charging" APP, and virtual driving interactive experience based on green electricity. "1+M+N" charging service system: "1" refers to the load control center of the Internet of Vehicles platform, and "M" refers to the power grid service, including the power peak shaving market and demand response market of each province and city; "N" refers to all adjustable charging resources, including intelligent and orderly AC charging pile, DC charging pile, V2G technology, etc.
