Chongqing – The first phase of Smart Experience Park in Liangjiang New Area will open to the public during the second Smart China Expo, Li Yi, chairman of Liangjiang Industrial Group said recently. The park serves as a reflection of Chongqing’s innovation-driven development strategy led by big data and intelligence.

Various scenarios at the Lijia Smart Experience Park

Before going into the Lijia Smart Experience Park, visitors will have face recognition, then follow the smart guide system, and experience a smart and futuristic life. There will be driverless shuttle bus, smart trails, the automatic spray cooling system, and more.

Currently, in preparation for the upcoming SCE 2019 scheduled from August 26 to 29, the smart experience park is still under construction, and visitors can enjoy the smart life scenarios then.

One park and five functional areas

The park is mainly built along a river and includes four ecological parks with mountains and rivers. It maintains the original natural ecological characteristics of the area and highlights the beautiful scenery and landscape. Five functional areas are created with a 5G communication system, intelligent security, sanitation and water systems, smart energy system, intelligent irrigation, and other cutting-edge technologies. These functional areas are for landscape views, leisure, space-makers and innovation, and so on.

Opening areas during SCE 2019

As the first phase of the Lijia Smart Experience Park, two areas-the Lingjiang Ciyuan and Yunshang Hualin will be open to the public at SCE 2019 in August this year.

The Lingjiang Ciyuan, with an area of about 970,000 square meters, is a humanistic and ecological landscape experience area that is surrounded by mountains and rivers. It fully demonstrates sound ecology there. Li Yi said, “We will set up a 100-meter smart spray cooling system to spray water mist according to body temperatures, so as to grant visitor a cool and comfortable environment in a very short period of time.” That is a very considerate move as Chongqing in August has very high temperatures.

Moreover, Lingjiang Bookstore combines modern digital intelligent technology to create a shared future reading space. There is also a street as a theme dining area located on the cliff, and visitors can enjoy Chongqing cuisine and enjoy natural landscapes.

Yunshang Hualin covering an area of 820,000 square meters combines ecological landscape and technology application to create a green and intelligent leisure space.

While enjoying the beautiful scenery, visitors can also go to the 5G comprehensive exhibition area, art funhouse, and so on. All experience projects are for visitors to experience the smart life of the future city.

“Lijia Smart Experience Park is more than just an eco-city or an amusement park,” Li Yi said. “It offers a smart life experience with scenario-based creativity and shows that innovation leads the future smart city. It is a smart expo that never ends.”
