2019 Smart China Expo (SCE) is going to be held during August 26-29 at Chongqing International Expo Center in Liangjiang New Area. The venue will be fully covered by a 5G network, with over 50 smart life scenarios.

Compared with the first session, 2019 SCE will welcome guests from more diversified fields and more international enterprises. As of now, 380 companies from 18 countries and regions confirmed to attend the expo. VIP guests include Kostya Novoselov, winner of 2010 Nobel Prize in Physics, and Whitfield Diffie, Father of Modern Cryptography.

2019 SCE creates four real experience scenarios: Liangjiang New Area Lijia Experience Park, Yuelai Interactive Experience Zone, Yubei Xiantao Smart Transportation and Automatic Drive Demonstration Zone, and Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone (Nan’an District). Citizens can experience future life there.

The over 50 smart life scenarios encompass future life AI scenarios including a trip to the supermarket, medical care, face-scanning locker, hydrogen vehicle, smart guide, driverless cars, AR games, and a smart sidewalk. They will display the latest achievements in AI tech and future smart cities.

5G network will cover the entire Chongqing International Expo Center, including indoor exhibition halls and outdoor experience zones, during 2019 SCE. People can feel the speed and enjoy the ecosystem brought by technology.

At the preparatory stage, 2019 SCE sets exclusive lanes for the first time, significantly improving transportation efficiency of specialized vehicles and comprehensive service capabilities on surrounding roads.
