Chongqing– Lijia Intelligent Experience Park in Liangjiang New Area has been opened to the public since August 21, 2019, and it offers one-stop futuristic smart life experience as a part of the 2019 Smart China Expo.
After nearly one year of planning and construction, the first phase of the smart experience park has 25 experience scenarios and 50 experience projects. What can visitors enjoy during the second Smart China Expo? Read on for a preview of must-see technology.
Robot dancing welcomes the road to the future

At the southern entrance to of the park, a group of robots was dancing. These robots can sing, dance, monitor, take photos, make phone calls, and do other things once given voice commands.
Stepping into the experience park, you can see machine arm pouring water for the guests besides the walking trail. Infrared and temperature sensing is utilized for an automatic spray and cooling system, which creates an environment-friendly ecological corridor. A robot plays pleasant music along the way, and the park trail shows off its artificial intelligence, big data, and other technologies. All the scenes are not exhibitions for your eyes only, but also for you to experience.
Four exhibition areas contain 5G elements
There are four exhibition areas inside the park: the 5G Hall, the Art Museum, the Yunshang Experience Center, and the Cloud Market, for you to immerse yourself in a future smart life experience.
5G-powered bicycle racing
If you want to know 5G life first hand, the 5G Hall can’t be missed. There are 16 application experience projects relevant to 5G, such as 5G video calls, virtual drive, immersive bicycle, smart medic care, smart travel, and smart sports. A bed as a product of 5G smart medic care is capable of collecting real-time body data such as heart rate and blood pressure as long as one lies down for a while. Color a rail transit or a building and upload it, then you will attribute your idea for city planning. Moreover, grasp a pair of tailored glasses, and a three-dimensional organ image will show up. The technology behind it can be used not only in education but also in manufacturing.
Across the lake from the 5G Hall, it is the Art Museum themed with digital art and games. It is popular among children. Through the VR, AR, holographic projection, and other light and shadow technologies, the artwork shows the development track of human beings from the past to the present. In the digital game showroom, VR roller coaster, 9D movies, VR surfing, and other games have attracted children’s attention.
There are still many smart projects that can be experienced in this 3 square kilometer experience park. From the Art Museum, you can walk along the trail to the Yunshang Experience Center, which is divided into an immersive experience area for Chongqing city landscape, a comprehensive display area for the intelligent experience park. Next to the Yunshang Experience Center is the Yunshang Garden, and it has a full coverage of intelligent irrigation by using the Internet, big data, and mobile applications.
Cloud Market
The Cloud Market is at the highest elevation of the entire experience park, overlooking the peninsula and the river.
Autonomous driving
Last but not least, the experience park introduces three self-driving shuttle vehicles.
