To welcome the 2019 Smart China Expo on August 26, Liangjiang New Area and Yuelai Investment Group are improving transportation around the Chongqing International Expo Center (CIEC), perfecting supporting facilities for catering and rest within exhibition halls, and establishing parking lots.

Yuelai New City builds four new access roads

Liangjiang New Area is accelerating the construction of four access roads to Yuelai New City to ensure safe, smooth, and orderly transportation during the SCE. Specifically, it is building Yuelai Binjiang Bridge linking Yuelai New City and Lijia, north extension of Binjiang Avenue to connect Shuitu Town and Jialan Road (linking Yunzhu Road) to connect Yuelai Avenue and Jinshan Avenue, while widening Pingfeng Road linking Gaoyikou East Road and Gaoyikou West Road.

76 new guide systems will cover the inside and outside of exhibition halls
Yuelai Investment Group will set up 76 smart guide systems in Yuelai New City before the opening of SCE, of which 53 stands within and 13 outside the CIEC, and ten sit at other places. Thus, visitors can enjoy all-round services.

These guide systems, like smart electronic signs in shopping malls, can provide real-time and accurate information about the exhibition, offering a better experience for visitors. Additionally, 2019 SCE Mini Program has been launched on WeChat, allowing people to make an appointment for a demonstration, navigate their way indoors, etc.

Fully-covered supporting services within exhibition halls

2019 SCE plans to set some catering halls, including a 2,000m2 smart restaurant, enabling self-service order and meal-taking.
