Introduction: In accordance with the Opinions of the State Council on Promoting the High-Quality Development of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Creating an Upgraded Version of “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” (State Council Document No. 32, 2018), the 9^th China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition will be co-hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission, and All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce in 2020.

The Chongqing “High-Tech Cup” Entrepreneurship Competition thoroughly implements the innovation-driven development strategy as well as major decisions and arrangements made by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, follows the model of “guided by the government, supported by the public and market-oriented”, focuses on national strategies and major demands, highlights key fields of strategic emerging industries, establishes a market-oriented platform for enterprises, pools together the support from government, market, and social resources to promote innovation & entrepreneurship, vigorously boosts technological innovation, enhances the vitality of market entities, constantly fosters new driving forces for development and advances the high-quality economic development.
