The Small Three Gorges and the Mini Three Gorges of Wushan County, Chongqing

The Small Three Gorges and the Mini Three Gorges of Wushan County, Chongqing

The Small Three Gorges of Wushan refers to the Longmen Gorge, Bawu Gorge, and Dicui Gorge through which Daning River, the largest tributary in the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, flows within the area of Wushan, with a total length of 50 kilometers. It was among the first national 5A-level tourism attractions. In the area, the magnificent and precipitous gorges enable threadlike and narrow water channels, from where you see a thin strip of sky, presenting such a scene that mountain peaks are collected to the sky and boats sail in cellars. With lush forests, verdant bamboos, steep mountains, and majestic peaks, the picture of the wonderful scenery of various forms is rolled out just before the eyes of tourists. Clouds and mist may drift through the mountains, creating a peaceful and beautiful spectacle; waterfalls can flow down rapidly, looking grand and magnificent. There are also pairs of mandarin ducks, groups of monkeys climbing and playing on the rocks, flying waterbirds with spreading wings, and fish swimming freely in clear waters. With such natural beauties, tourists will surely find every inch of the place a poetry-like picture scroll.
