In order to ensure your smooth participation in the China International Smart Expo, please read the following statement of terms carefully before submitting your personal information in the guest registration system of the Expo. When you submit your information in the guest registration system, you consent to the collection, use and protection of your personal information by the China International Smart Expo on a legal basis and according to the terms herein.


Information Collection

You agree and authorize the China International Smart Expo to collect your identity information, including but not limited to your name, gender, employer, position, nationality, domicile, document type, certificate number, telephone number, email address, food preferences, travel information, etc.


Information Protection and Storage

To secure your information, the China International Smart Expo will take a variety of reasonable physical, electronic and administrative security measures, including but not limited to encrypted storage, data center access control and dedicated network channels, so as to protect your information from being revealed, damaged or lost. The China International Smart Expo has also imposed strict management over any staff members that may come into contact with your information, including but not limited to granting different rights according to different positions, signing confidentiality agreements with the relevant staff members, monitoring their operations and other measures. The China International Smart Expo will provide appropriate security measures by adopting existing technologies to protect your information, and deploy reasonable safeguards at all times to keep your information from being compromised, destroyed or lost as far as possible. Your information will be stored on Chinese servers. For security and backup, the China International Smart Expo may store your information on its server to the extent that the appropriate security measures have been taken.


Information Use

In order to ensure your successful participation and enjoyment of better reception services, you agree and authorize that the China International Smart Expo can use your information for the following purposes:

1.to compare the accuracy of information and submit it to public security organs for review;

2.to send you notices, news, service statuses and other personalized electronic meeting information with regard to the China International Smart Expo, enabling you to better know and understand the Expo;

3.the China International Smart Expo will summarize the registration statistics and may share them with the public or third parties in order to showcase the participation of guests, but the statistics will not contain any of your identity information, and the information is not to be recovered;

4.other purposes permitted by the laws and regulations, and those agreed or authorized by you.


Information Confidentiality

The China International Smart Expo will keep your personal information confidential in accordance with the laws and regulations, except in the following cases:

1.it is otherwise stipulated by the laws, regulations, rules and other normative documents;

2.the related information is requested by government agencies or judiciary or regulatory authorities;

3.the related information enters the public domain;

4.you agree that the information requires no strict confidentiality measures;

5.it is otherwise provided for in the Agreement;

6.other legal situations.


Effectiveness and Application

I am aware of the significance of all the contents herein and the legal effect arising therefrom, and I voluntarily agree to this statement. This privacy protection statement is the true expression of my intentions and I agree to assume all legal consequences arising therefrom.
