Company Profile:The team is subordinate to the Shanghai Jiao Tong University “Intelligent Medicine” Interdisciplinary Comprehensive Platform Base. The base, aiming at the international frontier research direction of intelligent medicine, and striving to meet the strategic demand for the development of the national high-end medical device industry, has been built into a leading domestic and international first-class R&D platform for the core technology of intelligent medicine, supporting Shanghai to build a key technology transformation platform for the intelligent medical industry, and promoting China's innovative research, technological transformation and industrial development in this field. It has built a high-end talent training base in the intelligent medicine industry, gathered international first-class R&D talents, and constructed an internationally influential gathering place for masters of cutting-edge research in intelligent medicine and talents for industrial innovation and transformation. 
The base features a high-level faculty of more than 50 persons, comprising more than 30 national-level talents, including four academics, two Yangtze River Scholars, four National Fund for Outstanding Young Persons awardees, and four IEEE Fellows. Aiming at the world's scientific and technological frontiers and the country's major strategic needs, the base has undertaken and completed a bunch of major scientific research tasks, including the 973 Program, the NSFC Major Key Project, the National Key R&D Program, the National 863 Key Project, etc. The base has yield substantial results in the key technologies of intelligent biomedical manufacturing and high-end medical equipment, and has been awarded the Second Prize of the National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology. At the same time, the base continues to blaze new trails in emerging fields such as imaging intervention and surgical navigation, surgical robotics, rehabilitation and assistance robotics, hospital automation and high-throughput robotics, micro-nano systems, bio-electronics, bio-hybrid and bionic systems, and precision electromechanical and manufacturing, making irreplaceable contributions to the construction of major projects of the country.
