On July 1, 2022, an investment cooperation agreement was concluded between Chengdu High-Tech Industrial Development Zone Administrative Committee, Alibaba Cloud Computing Co., Ltd., BMW China Services Ltd. and RECO SPACE formally establishing the project of BMW Startup Garage-Alibaba Cloud Innovation Center (Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone) Intelligent Vehicle Industry Innovation Base in Center for China-Europe Cooperation (CCEC), a landmark building of Chengdu High-Tech Zone. 

The BMW Startup Garage is to connect outstanding startups with BMW’s top automotive engineers so that they can integrate and validate their products on BMW’s vehicles, promoting mass production of the products for full range of BMW. Alibaba Cloud’s cloud platform has become an indispensable technological support for intelligent connected vehicles and Alibaba Cloud will continue to provide digital and intelligent solutions for the automobile industry to help startups make breakthroughs in the innovation of human-vehicle-road and cloud-Internet-map integration. RECO SPACE is equipped with diversified and integrated office spaces for startups, including a variety of supporting facilities such as enterprise exhibition areas, roadshow halls, meeting rooms, and VIP reception rooms, and also organizes the “Alibaba Cloud Intelligent Networked Industry-Startup Integration Accelerator”, the “BMW China Open Innovation Event”, the CEO Club, and upstream and downstream industry chain closed-door meetings and other high-quality industrial services to accelerate the growth of startups.
