Lithium hydroxide production base of Tianqi Lithium at Kwinana

The Australian lithium hydroxide production base of Tianqi Lithium is located in Kwinana Industrial Zone, Western Australia. The production base began to be invested and constructed in 2016 and is divided into two phases. The first phase project is the first fully automatic battery-grade lithium hydroxide plant put into operation in the world. The commissioning has been completed in 2022 and the commercial production capacity has been reached. The main project of the second production line has been basically completed, and the planned annual production capacity of each production line is 24000 tons of battery-grade lithium hydroxide.
